Jim Worrall lead the parade and Stan Howes laid the wreath. Pam Mellor (Tesco Manager) said it was an honour for Tesco to be involved and thanked everyone for coming then took everyone in Tesco for tea coffee and biscuits.

Who but the LFs.
As we are coming to the end of the march the band stops playing and someone calls the step (wrongly) and from the ranks of the LF's comes "Pack up all your troubles in your old kit bag" this was sung for about 100 yards. ( was this in the Kitner drill manual )

Colin Parks, who is originally from Liverpool but who now lives in Bury, Greater Manchester, served with the now disbanded Lancashire Fusiliers and also took part in the parade.
He said: "I served in Northern Ireland and Cyprus and was in the Fusiliers for 22 years.
"It is vital for us to take part because people forget."
