The result of a bomb dropped near Breeze Hill Road, Oldham, Lancashire, on
the night of 12-13 October 1941.
The Pollitts' house is the first one still standing. All three houses pictured
were later demolished. The Pollitts were later rehoused in Brewerton Road, Oldham
