S/Sgt George Albert Davies

George Albert Davies served in The Lancashire Fusiliers from 1927 to 1968, a total of 41 years.
During that time he actually spent only 12 or so years with the Lancashire Fusiliers. The rest of the time was spent on various secondments around the world.

He was rarely known by the name George, always preferring Dai (Davies), or Albert, his middle name.
